A month at YWAM

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the delay in posting, its been crazy up here. Life in YWAM is super busy. I love the activities that we are doing up here and the students. I have developed some amazing friendships and experienced some wicked things.

We spent 5 days in Aspen for the X-games doing ministry. It was awesome, I got to pray for some people and I also had the experience of leading a worship song down town. I sang How He Loves (thanks for teaching me how to play it on guitar Celeste <3). It went really well! One girl i prayed for after complemented me on my singing. It was super encouraging!

While in Aspen we got to see the big events going on but it was honestly super exciting the opportunities we had to minister to people. So awesome! We stayed in churches, sleeping on the floor every night, not so fun on the back. The Sunday morning we went to the church services, I got to share my testimony with the jr. high students. They were all really encouraged by what all of us had to say. My birthday out here was pretty good, missed my family and everyone back home. I got to hang out with some of my close friends out here, although we were driving back from Aspen so I spent some of my birthday in a bus. :-)

God's been doing some amazing things in my life, He's been revealing the things in my life that I need to change and the heart that He has for people. I'm learning to be less selfish, sometimes thats harder than I expected but I asked God to move in my life and bringing maturity where it was needed. He is faithful when we ask, so should I expect anything less? I'm developing a dependence to read my Bible, I sometimes can't put it down. Currently reading through Daniel, its sweet to see how radical God can be. You should read that book if you haven't already, or if your in for a journey in how wicked God is.

Well I'll try to post more often and update ya'll (soooo american!).

P.S. Paid for my whole out reach on Monday! God is sooo good!

Love,

KChoy

Prayer requests:
-That our teams can get the financial support they need for outreach (If anyone feels led to support someone out here contact me via facebook or solomenandkat@gmail.com)
-That the days where I miss home I could see God
-That our teams can function well together.
-For my parents, that they will consistently be reassured God is moving in my life and I'm safe.
